You’re not picking individual workers from a list on the website. You book the repair. We send the job only to qualified, available pros in your area. The system weighs who is best for that work.
Handyman vetting (before anyone goes active)
- Identity & background — government ID and criminal background check.
- Insurance — general liability (and any trade coverage your market requires).
- Skills & experience — review of trade history; menu categories tied to what they’re approved to accept.
- Quality bar — ongoing job ratings; low performers are reviewed or removed.
- Compliance — where the law requires a license for certain work, we verify it before those jobs are offered.
How we choose who gets your job
After you pay, we look at pros who are Active, not on another job, within range of your address, and approved for that menu item. From that pool we prioritize strong reviews, reliability, and fit for the skills your repair needs — not whoever paid for placement.
You’ll see job status in the app (searching, matched, on the way, arrived, working, done). We don’t run a public “meet our handymen” gallery; trust is in the vetting, matching, and your ratings after each visit.
